ABOUT BLUE NEST
〰 〰
Blue Nest was born in 2022 when local entrepreneurs Madeline Linder and Stacie Staub spotted an opportunity they couldn't pass up: an open space at 20th and Youngfield in Applewood, available before they'd even decided what to do with it. They signed the lease anyway.
"We love Applewood — it's home to both Madie and me," said Stacie. "This community has been so good to us, our families, and our team at West + Main Homes. When we saw that space, we knew we wanted to do something meaningful with it: to give our neighbors a true 'third place' and let it grow into something locals could really call their own."
That spirit of community-first thinking is exactly what Blue Nest has become: a neighborhood gathering spot where regulars are welcomed by name and every visit feels a little like coming home.
Now, with an expansion to a full bar and bistro on the horizon, the best is still ahead!
"We can't wait to welcome everyone, familiar faces and first-timers alike," said Madie. "The support from this community has meant everything to us, and we're just getting started. We can't thank everyone enough for their continued support!"
